lyrics
The fan in my room keeps pulsing a tune in my head as I lie in bed. The radiator, vibrato wide from side to side as I slide into the symphony of a dream. Am I? Could I be hallucinating this syncopating thrumming around me? Whistles, whispers, cat whiskers of static in-between termites in the walls, the whole house breathes.
It’s just a galaxy of poetry,
Too wide, too wide, too wide to see.
It’s just a galaxy of poetry,
Too wide, too wide, too wide to see what’s ahead.
Communing with my surroundings I see through the eyes of an ant as she climbed up an enchanted tree in a cemetery. Wide eyes and motivated, she doesn’t look back, she just stays on track. The tree bleeds sap and it sticks to her soles like honey, she’d drunk with is and she’s stuck to the trunk with it. Wading through honey-like streams of conscienceness, she’s skating away and ambered in time.
It’s just a galaxy of poetry,
Too wide, too wide, too wide to see.
It’s just a galaxy of poetry,
Too wide, too wide, too wide to see what’s ahead.
It’s just a galaxy of poetry,
Too wide, too wide, too wide to see.
It’s just a galaxy of poetry,
Too wide, too wide, too wide to see what’s ahead.
